Who we are

Wokingham Website Design was founded in 2005 initially as HA Solutions Ltd by its current owner, Chris Fitzpatrick. After researching the local industry Chris soon realised there was a desperate lack of professional quality creative website designers coupled with an in depth knowledge of relevant technologies in the area who could cater for the local small business market. There were plenty of part-time designers producing ok sites but nobody with the ability to understand business and how best to make use of up-to-date technology to promote their business on the internet.

Today, WWD is established as one of Wokingham’s premiere web design companies for small businesses. With an ever growing portfolio we have expanded almost exponentially both in terms of our customer base and staff.

Chris Fitzpatrick
Owner | Managing Director
Chris has been working in IT a long long time, actually since 1982.

Working previously for companies such as large Insurance companies, a leading supermarket chain, an organisation providing flight data to airlines as well as Barclays Capital in the city, Hewlett Packard and lastly Oracle Corporation , Chris’s width and depth of technical knowledge is pretty substantial. High Availability, Performance, Disaster Recovery and Security of particular interest.

Away from running WWD Chris has a passion for performance & rally cars as well as 2 stroke race bikes. So he is truly a petrol head. Football also runs deep in his veins and has been a lifelong Pompey fan, Season ticket holder and even until recently a part owner of the community owned club even appearing on the BBC in 2008.

Tim Marotto
Principle Designer
Tim brings cutting-edge design to the company. He has been working in the design industry since he left school at 16, nearly 30 years ago. He has worked in various segments of the industry and can design for both web and print. He has worked in several award-winning creative agencies with clients such as BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce, Mazda, 3M, O2, Marks and Spencer as well as smaller, more local clients.

Tim’s creative, yet practical style of design works well for websites and the quality of his work is backed up by the technical expertise Wokingham Website Design posesses.

In his spare time Tim is an avid muscle car fan and owns two rather large and noisy American cars. He certainly likes to announce his presence. You may well have seen or heard him around Wokingham.

Jags Fitzpatrick
Cyber Security Expert
Jags, like Chris, has worked in IT for her entire life; commencing in 1989 for a university. 20 plus years working in Oracle has proved invaluable to WWD as Jags has brought immense in depth knowledge of the database, applications, web based technologies as well as the latest cloud offerings and infrastructures.

Working for some time within security has helped us ensure your websites keep on running and have the right security and technology to keep them that way.

Jags in-depth knowledge of support and ticketing systems helps us maintain our high standards for supporting our client base and importantly keeping all of our customers happy all of the time. Not an easy ask by anyone’s standards but we seem to manage it year on year.

Outside of being a techno nerd Jags enjoys music, reading and collecting old books, holidays to historical and cultural regions, walking along the coastal path down here in Cornwall, philosophy, yoga and most things spiritual.

Satnam Loyal
Technology & Projects Director
Satnam has been a Computer Support professional for overs 30 years with various different fields of experience within IT and business..

He worked for many years at the Prudential Assurance Company within various business departments (Marketing, Corporate Identity, and Management Information) liaising with the IT support teams, where he gained valuable business experience and understanding of what businesses want from their IT.

Moving over to the IT division of the Prudential gave him experience in project management, business analysis, incident management, help desk management, support, disaster recovery, change management, version control and software testing.

Owning and running his own IT Support company with several engineers, Satnam provides project management expertise as well as architectural and futures consultancy to WWD and our client base.

What sets us apart from other web design companies?
Knowledge

We don’t just have programming knowledge. We have the total spectrum needed from start to finish.
Initially to understand your business needs and requirements. We take your ideas and turn these into a modern design alongside a user friendly natural process flow. Ensuring this design is aesthetically pleasing but, more importantly, functional and easy to navigate, as well as being search engine friendly.

Technology

We make use of modern technology, software as well as programming methodologies.
Our main advantage however is that we can provide almost any type of website to do anything. Whether that be a simple content managed site (CMS) in wordpress or a fully integrated ecommerce system integrating to an accounts solutions such as Sage for invoicing and connect to POS terminals.
There is not much we cannot do.

Support

From spending many years working in support both in the city for a merchant bank and more recently for HP & Oracle, Chris utilises his knowledge and vast experience in this field to ensure WWD customers receive only the best support available, and reading the testimonials you will see our customers think the same.

Value for money

Giving our customers a fantastic service, quality professional products and an accessible and reliable service is easy if money is no object.

The difficulty lies with providing the same high level of service at a fraction of the cost, and most importantly providing value for money to customers. Not only have we managed to achieve this, but we are constantly looking to improve on our offerings and to make use of any new efficiencies we come across to reduce costs in the future.
